A rockin' benefit show for Bambi Godkin who is currently
fighting breast cancer. March 6th, 2016 4pm-10pm at
Martin's Downtown in downtown Roanoke, VA.
A melodic rock band, My Radio is comprised of members JP Powell (singer/songwriter,) Hunter Johnson (drummer,) Brett Lemon (guitarist) and Jeff Hofmann (bassist.) They play small theaters, venues, colleges, and festivals throughout Virginia, North/South Carolina, DC, Philly, NYC and Boston.
After self-releasing their debut CD titled “Give Us The Sun,” My Radio signed with Ocean Park Music Group out of Santa Monica, California. Their song “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah” is featured in the movie, The Joneses (starring Demi Moore and David Duchovny), as well as in the award winning Showtime Series "Homeland."

The band, Tobacco Apache, blends a mix of original old school, Southern, and roots rock into one dynamic sound. Band members are Sam Fochtman (guitar/vocals,) Josh Lynch (bass/vocals,) Mason Jennelle (drums/vocals), Paul Tressel (keys/vocals) and TJ Young (guitar.)
Tobacco Apache has shared the stage with The Dirty Guv'nahs, Dangermuffin, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, Cabinet, Folk Soul Revival, Mountain Heart, Adam Ezra Group, The Mumbles, Ten Toes Up and many others.

The Floorboards are an Appalachian roots rock band with roots in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Their sound marries both rock & roll and country roots with the sights and sounds of southern mountain towns. Members include Matt, Robb, Chris and Jake. A staple in the roots music scene, The Floorboards and are branching out with purpose and has shared the stage with both old school pioneers and genre shaping newcomers including Dwight Yoakam, Trampled By Turtles, Yarn, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Royal Southern Brotherhood, Laura Reed, Los Colognes, and many more.
